We are very pleased to report that they closed Ava’s chest today just before noon and she seems to be doing really well. She’s not out of the woods yet – between 12 and 24 hours things can get dicey – but we will just continue to pray pray pray!!
Here she is looking a little more normal again which is such a relief! And today has been a much better day over-all, praise God.
Oh my little Ava – please Lord – please keep her steady over-night and let her chest stay closed!!
What a stunning little girl you have! So excited her chest is closed and that she is tolerating it. We will pray for Sarah — for an easy transition, for a brave heart as she learns about the needles and finger pricks, that her blood sugars level out quickly, and that she feels better soon.
In flexh we are weak, but in God we are made strong.
Oh she is sooo beautiful. I can’t get over it!! Can’t believe all this crazy stuff with Sarah… wow. Know that we are with you in prayer. Thanks for the updates Lisa… love you guys.
So glad to hear this!! We are constantly praying for Ava… We are also praying for Sarah and strength for you all right now.. Love ya Lis

Praise God! That is amazing! I just want to kiss her precious ears. They remind me of Abby 🙂
Sorry I haven’t commented in a couple days. I definitely haven’t stopped praying! Thanks for the continual updates. It’s so helpful to know what to pray about. Glad you can all be together. “Oh Lord my God; I cried to you for help, and you have healed me.”
So pleased her chest is closed! Can’t wait to rejoice when you finally get to hold your wee little girl in your arms again!
“He sent forth his word and healed them;…” Psalm 107:20
“Then your light will break forth like the dawn, and your healing will quickly appear; then your righteousness will go before you, and the glory of the Lord will be your rear guard.” Isaiah 58:8
Claiming healing for wee Ava and that the Lord will be your rear guard to support you through this!
